A Little Exotic|Fantasy Faire

Ohai~

Today I bring you a Fantasy Faire [X] outfit! \o/

This top and skirt is from a set called, "Aphrodite in Pale Pink", by the store, "Tayren's Fantasy Fashions [X]". 

This pretty pink outfit has a sculpt top and a fun flexi skirt (don't you just love watching a flexi skirt move all flowy-like? *-*). The top and skirt also contain a resize script for easy fitting. This outfit also comes with: shoes, shape, hair and skin (not shown), so you get a full look.



 I'm wearing it to try and look "exotic" I suppose; like some kind of islander, but i'm sure this outfit would look great for faeries, Gorean girls, and more.

This outfit also comes in other colors: Sky Blue, Bronze.

Please remember that this outfit can only be found at Fantasy Faire.  It is a donation item, and all proceeds for buying this item will go to the Relay For Life organization to help in the fight against cancer. :)

I know, they say Pluto isn't a planet. That's okay. Something can still be "from it"...I guess? I dunno, i've always liked Pluto...

Anyway, here is another Fantasy Faire Peek! These alien-cat avatars are called "unreal_avatar-CAT?", and are by "KIKI no.18".

These cute, colorful kitties are quite special! First off, you can wear your system clothes with them (yay \o/). Secondly, they come with quite a few different options such as: claws or no claws, normal ears or injured, a few hairstyles and some tail positions/tail twitch option. \o/



On top of all that goodness, it comes with a HUD to change facial expressions. You can change the mouth, add a blush, open/close eyes, and move the ears. :D

 I should also point out that the whiskers are optional, as well as the tail and paws (Pretty much everything is "optional", but those are parts that one is more likely to inter-change).

The Green avatar will be placed in a Fantasy Faire Relay For Life vendor. This vendor will donate 100% of the profits to charity to help in the fight against cancer. The other colors will not be placed in a charity vendor.

Well, I have more horns to show you all! This are just as lovely as the pair I showed you yesterday!! *squeals* Again, they are by the store {Lemon Tea}, and will be available at Fantasy Faire 2012. ;)

The horns are called, "Bestia Cornu - Ethereal". These non-rigged, modifiable mesh horns are, as you can see, transparent. I love the way they look.."glassy". I love thems! <3



Oh..and i'm not sure how well you can see them (I have no idea what I was thinking when I took these shots...), but i'm wearing some elf ears that are also by {Lemon Tea} [X]. These ears are available right now at the Perfect Wardrobe discount store right now, woot! They're GORGEOUS. I'm incredibly peeky when it comes to elf ears but these? WOW! They even come with a color-change hud that makes finding the right skin-tone a breeze~.  Not sure how the {Lemon Tea} owner can afford to let these go at discount but well..kudos and thanks! LOL. <3



Finally, I would like to point out my background, hee hee! This is actually half of the amazing skybox that the owner of Spessart [X] has made for the Fantasy Faire hunt! :o Awesome? You should see the other side! Buuuttt you'll have to wait till tomorrow for that, sorry. ;P As you can see, I wasn't alone while inside the skybox...yep, my sissy Liliandra was there of course. ;)

Hello lovelies!

Another event? Yes, another event. Why do I work so hard to cover so many events? BECAUSE I LOVE TO MAKE YOU ALL HAPPY! Caps..Sorry. But it's true. I love my readers, mwah <3

So  yeah...Fantasy Faire [X] is fast approaching for you fantasy lovers. It runs from April 21-29.  You probably know by now that i'm a big fan of anime and fantasy stuff, so i'm pretty excited!

Fantasy Faire is another Relay For Life event to help in the fight against cancer, so pleaseeee save some linden for this event! It's important to donate, right? ;)



Like my horns? I like my horns..lol. These see-through mesh beauties are called "Swept Pan's Horns (Ethereal)", and are by the store  {Lemon Tea} [X]. They are non-rigged mesh, so while they retain the beauty of a mesh item, they are modifiable like a prim. They're perfect for like..any outfit because they're beautiful but not over-ally noticeable..love ittt!

These horns are NOT YET RELEASED. Caps. They will be released at Fantasy Faire. Fantasy Faire will have some special vendors that will, when you pay them, automatically take your linden payment into the donation collection. Of course it then spits out the item like any other vendor would. These horns are one of the items that will be placed in a donation vendor at Fantasy Faire, so if you choose to buy them, your linden will be collected and make its way to Relay for Life organization when the event is over.

 Oh...my sailor uniform? Yes, it's also mesh..but rigged of course. Isn't it adorable? It was slightly out of my budget, but it was soooo worth it! Look at the wonderful quality! It comes with summer and winter versions, different sock options, and a lot of it can be very easily color-changed via HUD. No messy RGB values no, they give you preset values in your most common (and uncommon) uniform colors. It's highly customizable, and a must for Japanese girls and anime-lovers!

Welllllll if you've played Pokemon on Gameboy Color like I did (rofl) you should be aware that wild pokemon in outside areas (as in not IN caves etc) were found in patches of grass. *shrug* Sorry...Used to be a Pokenerd. :P

From what i'm wearing right now, I think this skin is my favorite. It is the skin that "Modish" has made especially for Kawaii Fair. Modish isn't too old to the Grid, and offers very beautiful skins for an affordable price. This skin is so adorable! The pouty lips have captured my heart!

Speaking of "missing stuff"...Inu, like most SL fashionistas and bloggers, has a large inventory. Some good things, some crap...Hell, a lot of crap. I've been in SL with the same main account for over 5 years; a lot of crap accumulates over such a time span. Much like RL, cleaning isn't on our favorites list, haha. But well, yesterday I decided to start the cleanup process. Trust me...never again will I be lazy about inventory cleaning! This is just too much!!! Ugh. Well, the good news? I'm finding stuff I forgot I had! :D It's like Christmas, rofl. Well, i'm not the type who will put every item in an organized folder and what-not, but it doesnt mean that I can't go and delete stuff I no longer need. Old landmarks, notecards, clothes? Yeahhh....Not needed. I'm taking the wide-end of a comb to my inventory, hee hee. Hey, better than nothing.

Lysie Aristocrat Vanished...Again!

Hey peeps. I LOVE reading Lysie Arisocrat's blog. Who is she? She's the blogger of "Barbie Does SL".  But lately i've pulled back from reading others blogs, and focusing more on finding stuff on my own. Ya know, unique stuff or old stuff that people have sorta forgotten about...Such hunting is quite time consuming.

Well, I did find out something recently...Lysie quit blogging...again. I say "again" because she quit last December. Actually, I blogged about it [X]. World Culture's Easter Hunt

Ohai!

First off, i'd like to point out that I visited the "Where it Begins [X]" sim today! Harlow Heslop suggested it [X], sooo I figured i'd take a looksy. It's a very pretty sim! It has little shops and a cafe under a town-like setting. :) I took today's blog shots at the cafe.

I'm sexy, and I know it! Rofl...Sorry. Here's a little personal info: I've never been a big fan of kissing. Kyle knows this one quite well. As much as I love him, I don't like anyone or anything that close to my personal space. Though I dunno, I don't mind a forehead kiss or an Eskimo kiss. Kyle's found his work-arounds. Like Owner, Like Dog

Hey guys! Hope you had a good weekend. :) I spent mine with Kyle of course, hee hee!

Yes, the weather is still kinda chilly in the northern parts of the US, buuuut  we decided to take his cute doggy to the park on Sunday. I didn't take any photos while we were there, but here's an older photo of his dog, Trixie that I took a while ago:



Isn't she adorable?  She's such a sweetheart, I swear! Incredibly nice, friendly, playful, and isn't a picky eater...Yep, sounds a lot like her owner, Kyle. ;) Haha! I love them both so very much. :)



Meshy goodess!!! I'm wearing a sweater and pants from Sakide. :) The pants will be on discount at this month's Black Market [X] event!  I really love them!!! As you can see, they're black so naturally they match well with virtually any top, are high-waisted for a sophisticated look, yet also are flared at the bottom to add some fun and extra style into the mix. Carry Me Home Tonight

Arrow to the Knee

I was on my way to Grandma's house...until I took an arrow to the knee.

Sorry. I'm usually more humorous with "Arrow to the knee" jokes, but well..at least it fits this blog post. *shrug*



It's been a while since  Kyle and I took any pics together. I need to work on that, right? I'm sure you've missed him invading my pics and all. He's been busy working, and well..with his net? Getting him into pictures can be hard. Heck, even when he is on and i'm blogging, bad me forgets to invite him into my photos sometimes. :S *spanks self* But! I will try harder. Just like this post for example; he was at work, I logged him in and got the shots I wanted. \o/ Haha. He's probably reading this right now and blushing cause I snagged photos of us while he was away, lol.



I've heard "Little Red Riding Hood" told in many ways. There's so many different ways to tell a story.

Inu was...different. She had a cold, white, empty eye, the other covered up by a black eye-patch. She had soft, shoulder-length snow white hair. She didn't seem human. Because of this, she grew up being teased, tortured by the whispered comments, the stares, the glares. Never had she done anything to deserve such treatment.

One cold winter day, some of the village's livestock had been slaughtered and eaten overnight, with no explainable reason. The snow had concealed any footprints or evidence that could have explained what had occurred. The villagers were terribly upset, and full of rage. They had no one to blame for what happened, and together decided that it must have been Inu whom had killed the livestock.

That night in an angry mob, they stormed to Inu's small hut at the edge of the village. They banged on the door with their fists, and threw rocks at her windows. The angry villagers yelled for her to come out.

Inu knew that if she went out to face them, that she would have been stoned to death. She fixed her red hood over her head, and jumped out the back window into the cold night. She ran towards the forest, but before she could disappear into the shield of trees, an arrow stuck her in her knee. She cried out as the arrow pierced threw skin, bone. She fell slowly to the ground and blacked out.

When Inu awoken, she was very warm. She slowly opened her eyes, and saw the light of a fire in front of her. She looked around a bit, confused. She was in a small cave. She rubbed her eyes, and tried to think back about what happened. She remembered the slaughtered livestock, the angry villagers at her door, and the arrow that pierced her knee. Remembering the arrow had reactivated her pain sensors, and her leg began to ache; the pain was not as bad as one would think. She looked down at her knee; the arrow was still there, yet there was bandages around it, as well as some sort of herbs. Who helped her? Why was it was warm in this cave?

Her answers became clear when she looked behind her. She was propped up against a full-grown lycan, whom was asleep. She was startled at first, but did not run. She stared at the sleeping dark-grey lycan, and slowly reached her hand towards him. She lightly touched the soft fur his shoulder.

Upon being touched, the lycan opened his eyelids, revealing his eyes that matched the moon. His yellow eyes peered into her white, blank eyes. He softly licked her hand, and she smiled. She wasn't afraid of him. She knew he must of saved her, and even tried to help her injury. She relaxed into his soft, warm fur, and stared out of the cave, out into the darkness.

For the first time in her life, even with a stranger, a creature, she felt at ease.
